What is EMS?

Electric Muscle Stimulation (EMS) training is a new form of exercise that is becoming quite popular in specialty gyms/studios where electrodes are worn either through a vest or bodysuit, which help with increased muscle contraction. The goal of this form of exercise is to increase muscle output during a shorter period of time. It can also be helpful for rehab for passive muscle contraction during mid-phase to end-phase of rehab.
